Some more from the "foster mums." Please enjoy!
***** If you ever find a wild or orphaned animal bring it to the appropriate location where it can be properly looked after. DO NOT try to raise a wild or orphaned animal without proper training! My sister and I have both received proper training for foster kittens and she has also received her wildlife rehabilitation license. It is ILLEGAL for anyone who is not licensed to have possession of a wild animal. Thank you*****
Now here's a taste of the wild life: Baby opossums and even at a fairly young age their prehensile tails show their capability to wrap and hold on.
Oh, baby opossums!! I used to work as a wildlife rehabber too (now I'm a zoo keeper) so I know first hand how much work this is! But opossums are my absolute favorite native wildlife. LOVE those guys! Good work!
ReplyDeleteO M Goodness!!! So cute. That's such a neat thing to get involved in, as much as I would love the cuteness, I would be terrible doing that. Just one last.. "AWWWWWWW".. awwwwwe awe awe. Okay, I'm done. :)
